SYDNEY, March 14 AAP - A truck carrying several of Bart Cummings' Sydney autumn carnival contenders is due to arrive from Melbourne on Monday morning.
On the float will be Faint Perfume, Sirmione, Moatize and Rock Classic who gave the master trainer his 258th Group One win in Saturday's Australian Guineas.
Cummings will monitor Sirmione and Moatize before deciding whether the Australian Cup placegetters will back up in Saturday's Ranvet Stakes at Rosehill.
"I'll just see how they are," Cummings said.
"Faint Perfume could go to the Storm Queen Stakes on Golden Slipper day and then to the Oaks.
"She has strengthened up a lot and is one of the good ones.
"I don't know about running her in the Derby, that's just a week before the Oaks."
Faint Perfume won the Victorian Oaks (2500m) and claimed an impressive first-up win in the Group Two Kewney Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield On March 6.
Cummings has not designated any specific targets for Rock Classic who is entered for both the AJC Australian Derby (2400m) on April 10 and the Doncaster Mile a week later.
Accompanying the four on the float will be Sydney Cup hopeful Precedence who notched his third career win in a 2000m support race on the Australian Guineas program.
Precedence is raced by Cummings' long time client and friend Dato Tan Chin Nam in partnership with Sir Patrick Hogan and the Dowager Duchess of Bedford who has raced many horses in New Zealand over the years.
Cummings kept Group One winners Roman Emperor and Allez Wonder in Sydney with the BMW and Doncaster their respective targets.
"Allez Wonder could run next Saturday n the Coolmore," he said.
"The Doncaster is her aim. She is very good at a mile."
Allez Wonder won the Toorak Handicap in the spring but was never in the hunt first-up in the Liverpool City Cup (1300m) on March 6.
Glyn Schofield was forced to take her back from barrier 15 of 15 and the mare found it tough to make any impression on the slow track.
Last year's Derby winner Roman Emperor also failed to make an impression on the rain affected track on the same day when unplaced in the Chipping Norton Stakes.
He is likely to line up in the Ranvet.
