Black barrier for Caviar in William Reid

MELBOURNE, Feb 10 AAP - Boom filly Black Caviar will have to overcome the outside barrier in her bid to win her maiden Group One in the William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley.
The undefeated three-year-old will have eight rivals but Caulfield Guineas winner Starspangledbanner won't be among them after connections decided not to accept with the colt.
Black Caviar's trainer Peter Moody will also start Wanted while the Chris Waller-prepared Shellscrape rounds out the three-year-old contingent.
Lightning Stakes winner Nicconi will fly the flag for David Hayes after stablemate Eagle Falls was not paid up for Saturday's feature.
