SYDNEY, March 10 AAP - Victorian raider Hanks is among a final field of 17 paid up for the Group One Randwick Guineas on Saturday.

Hanks was to have contested the Australian Guineas at Flemington last weekend but it was postponed for seven days when a severe storm hit during the meeting.

Trainer Peter Moody now appears set to bypass a clash with Denman in that race in favour of the Randwick feature.

The winner of the AAMI Vase in the spring, Hanks has drawn barrier seven while Hobartville Stakes winner Monton faces a tough task from gate 16.

Hobartville placegetters Shoot Out and Captain Sonador fared well with five and six respectively while Perth visitor Sir Hallowell came up with barrier three.

Monton's Tim Martin-trained stablemate Indian Ocean, one of two fillies in the 1600m Guineas, drew two with Viking Legend snaring the coveted rails position.
