Hi everyone, just testing the waters to see if anyone out there is interested in forming a syndicate in 1, 2, 3, or even 4 pacers. My dad has gone a tad crazy with buying a few harness horses. He has paid some big money and is finding that the bank balance is getting quite low and l suggested he look at forming a syndicate or two.
Of the horses he has, he does have a couple of "duds" which may win in the country...... but he does have a fillie and a colt (need to confirm with him if its a gelding or not) anyway they have both been broken in and are going "well above average" which suggests these two are the ones to definately keep.
I am simply posting this message to see what sort of possible interest there may be, if we do form a syndicate in these horses he would be looking to maintain 30% - 40% which would mean 6 or 7 10% shares would be available. The price would be around $3000 per 10% plus training costs. The typical training costs are $1000 per month or $100 per 10% share.
As stated earlier he does also have a couple of "dud"....... so if anyone was interested in a cheap horse then perhaps there is an option there aswell ???
Anyway, genuine and serious replies would be appreciated, thanks people.
