Thought I would start a thread to list your best 1st starters for each day.

My best today is at Coffs Harbour.
Race 2 #8 Starlight Dynasty "Debutante who looked good winning a recent trial at Inverell by over five lengths. Not drawn too well but must be respected." 

Thurdays Debutantes

Geelong
R1 #5 Move Away "Son of Duke Of Marmalade making his debut. Runner up on March 12 in only public trial at Echuca over 900m. Made a good impression there and expected to be measuring up to this."

R2 #6 Princely Blaze "Gelding by Consolidator. Not seen in a public trial to date but runs for top yard and in a skinny race it would not shock to see him measuring right up."

R3 #5 Sungama "Gelding by Magnus. Had three trials leading into this, not making any great impression, but inclined to respect any push for him in betting."

Gosford
R3 #5 Oxford Poet "Gelding who is making his debut here. Trialled three times leading into this and watch betting moves."

R4 #11 Mocks "Debuting Peter Snowden filly. Won a Hawkesbury trial to prepare for this and could be worth thought if there's a strong move in the market."
R4 #3 Redhawks "Having first race start. Trial form has been reasonable. Market best guide here."

R8 #2 Fairbanks "Unraced colt who has trialled twice. Impressive trial win on March 19 at Rosehill over 900m. Looks a capable type and will be competitive at debut."
R8 #7 Lucky Lago "Having first race start. Trial form was solid enough and she gets in well with a 2kg claim. Keep safe and watch betting moves."

R2 #2 Absolutely Sacred "Dam has left Carmine King (4 wins). Uber-impressive trial win last December. Drawn to be a win hope on debut. Stable always show patience."

Geelong r2 no.5 Ollie Runs Riot, very strange name for a horse, wonder about the meaning behind it, last in only trial. 

Well after hitting two debutantes (on the live blog) today, thought I'd have a go again Gman. Got two the same as you (just stealing your thunder mate...lol) Gosford R3 #4 Moss'n'Time and Gosford R8 #2 Fairbanks. Then two at Pinjarra. R1 #9 Because I Said and R2 #6 The Vendetta. This should be interesting to say the least:)

R1 #1 Manna Gum "Three-year-old Artie Schiller gelding on debut. Finished second in a trial to prepare for what looks a suitable race for him on debut."
R1 #7 Petrova "Filly by Magnus making her debut. Trial was okay and this is a modest looking race on paper. Can measure up."

R1 #7 Chater Gardens "Choisir filly out of Marju mare Melrose Gardens. Half sister to stakes winner Easy Running. Hasn't trialled publicly in readiness for this but suspect she is capable of a forward debut showing."
R1 #2 Creance "Reset colt out of Encosta De Lago mare Clean. Hasn't trialled in readiness for this and wide alley is against him. Youngsters are going well from the stable so far this season though so keep safe."

R2 #1 Change Course "Dehere filly out of Danzig mare Different Approach. Won a 800m Colac trial prior to debut. Suspect she will be better suited over further however employing a market watch is recommended."

R4 #5 Petley "Haradasun gelding out of Anabaa mare So Cuddly. Didn't turn any heads during lone public trial heading into debut. From a respected yard though so check betting."

R3 #6 Sir Joey "Strada gelding on debut following a sharp trial win at this track over 900m. Full brother is his useful stablemate Mister John who has won five of his six career starts."
R3 #1 Flying Verdict "Jet Spur gelding out of Canny Lad mare She Can Chatter. Makes debut after winning a trial here over 900m on March 26. Trial rider sticks. Expect a forward showing."

Lucky Lago was a nice debut got home hard for 2nd at good odds $3.80. The two other races were scratched.

R1 #1 Simbarosa "Debuting All Bar One filly who has placed twice at Doomben trials before a fourth in an Eagle Farm trial to prepare for this. Drawn ideally on the rails for her first start."

R2 #6 Macdye "Keeninsky four-year-old gelding who finally debuts today after a stack of barrier trials. Drawn well and likely to get a good run in transit. Worth consideration at debut."

R2 #1 Centre Attention "Trials placed last month and looked ready to debut. His trials placing last spring showed the gelding had some ability. Drawn to be considered at first start."

R4 #2 Directionz "Trial win left-handed last spring showed a colt with some appeal when he debuts. Drawn reasonable and looks the part. A 3kg claimer atop."

R6 #11 Fearless Felix "Unplaced in a trial over summer this year but go on a barrier win in the wet last spring. Well drawn for debut and just needs some cut in the ground to be a chance."

Interesting galloper who comes in after a host of trials, winning two looks a strong chance from the gate and with the in form Ryan Wiggins on top.
