Twenty20 big bash

Kentucky Fried Cricket starts tomorrow night and in an 8 team field the prices range from about $5.50 - $9. So if you fancy a team or two you can get a fair price. The keys to twenty20 in my opinion are strike bowlers and big hitting batsmen. All rounders are over rated but their versatility can be a help if your key players fail.

I reckon these two teams have a huge chance......

Brisbane - Great looking squad if they all can play. New ball weapons in Harris and Cutting. Spin options in Vettori and Hauritz. Plenty of batsmen and all rounders.

Melbourne Stars - Great squad in every sense. Test team opening bowlers. Best spinner ever. Big hitting batsmen. If they get the bulk of them on the field they can do well. Bring it on!

It will be great if those two get going. Only problem might be that Warner is carrying an injury and might not play, plus he will have commitments with the Australian squad. Their bowling might be a bit thin but Bollinger and Edwards should be handy....if fit.

If the Sixers get their stuff together they have a crankin' batting line up...........
