Youthful Jack - Unbeaten on dead, has 36% win strike rate on slow/heavy and not totally useless on good. Has 5 wins and 9 placings this distance and looks hard to beat.

Dream Pedlar - Not far away last start in the Listed Kevin Sharkie Stakes at Hobart, the wetter the better and can fill a place despite an awkward draw.

Motspur - Won recent barrier trial by 3 lengths and does have a handy fresh record. Ideally would like a good track and if he gets that will prove hard to beat.

Nicastro - Comes back to a distance from recent runs in which he excells over, 40% win strike rate and in the money 70%. A must for your multiples.

Relentless Pursuit - Been racing in very consistant form and has a handy record over this distance and races well at the track. Wide draw is a hinderance but still an each-way chance.

Dash For Magic - On pacer who will probably lead from gate 2, has a nice strike rate this distance and seems to race his best with a bit of give in the track. Will be in this for a long way.

Good Boy Robert - Another local who seems to excell over this distance having 6 wins at a strike rate of 43%. Has 2 wins on this track and races well all conditions.

Getitdone - Up in class but worth noting that he is unbeaten from 3 second up runs and distance and conditions look to be in his favour.

Buzzing Along - Light weight filly who may run a race from gate one against the older horses, boasts a win at this track and distance.

Probably going to base my exotics around the top four runners and I think Youthful Jack looks the one to beat.

Good Luck.

I think the market is about right for this race, I have Doubtful Jack at $2.90 so the $4.00 on Centrebet looks pretty good. The only other that I have query about is Dream Pedlar I have him much shorter than $16.00 but I guess that may shorten if the heavens open up.
