Jud he has only raced 6 times for 6 wins, over the thousand he is faster than BC do your homework before making comments mate. Dont get me wrong guys BC is an amazing horse but I think it is hype. She has race a few decent animals but I believe soon the may meet and then some will eat their words and I will be laughing dringing Moet while others will be drinking cheap beer to forget their loss.

Barakey:
1000m 57.02, 57.76 , 57.8 , 57.65 - All on good2 and ridden out

BC:
1000m 56.73, 57.2, 56.68 , 56.63 (Dead4) , 55.53 (good3) - All eased down to a canter

Surely youre just stirring the pot??

Oh i see [kingnato} Your that one and only person in the world that still is knocking Black Caviar. How will you ever sell a tip after your foolish comments about Barakey v Black Caviar. It could take the award as this years worse comment. You clearly have absolutely no understanding of racing what so ever. There is a difference between putting away benchmark horses in W.A and putting away Group horses in Melb,Syd and Bris it is the sheer ease of which BC is putting away her Group raced rivals that shows the greatness of the horse. Barakey has won class 6 and a Hcp races... your clueless and doing yourself no favours. I do think Barakey has a bright future but only if he continues to stay away from BC cause she will rip his heart out on the way past. Go ask J.Brown the rider of Barakey how he would compare the two so he can open your eyes a bit more. You can't possibly compare Benchmark races in W.A to group races in SYD/Melb/Bris. If it is times you are looking at for your comparisons between the two then you are going about things the wrong way. You need your eyes checked.

Firstly not sure where you got the 55.53 from??? As you can see from the number below it is faster than BCs.
Check facts mate. not stirring the pot just like good conversation and believe in my tip.

??? that was a dead track I thought but I guess the wrong details are published??? I have rechecked it and apologize you are right there. See what I mean good conversation :) I still think she will be beaten soon :P

Definitely won't be by barakey because connections are avoiding her. Who is the trainer, it was the same one that trained hay list before mcniar. He was even hesitant to bry barakey to the eastern border let alone take on BC

Stop comparing times kingnato it has absolutely no relevance when comparing the two horses you are talking about. Different tracks, different days, different surfaces, different weather conditions, different opposition, different tactics different different different different. They are uncomparable

Sorry, did anyone see me knocking BC, (Dont get me wrong guys BC is an amazing horse) from above.
Anyway I see that everyone likes BC and enjoys making 10c to the dollar. Enjoy putting huge amounts to return pennies. While I get better value backing against her EW

Value each way? You mean value the place cause you would have lost your win stake every time. And she was great odds earlier in her races. And added value in legs of multi's.

kingnato

 wrote Feb 24 at 3:26am2012-02-24 03:26:12

Yes on the place mate, and if you read above I backed her first 6 faces and then most value was lost. When I nailed the big 6 at Flemington I included her, stupid not to. When she loses I will have the winner for a ton each way and clear a few grand it will more than pay for the losses on her. not that I have lost most places behind her have paid OK.

I dont think you quite understand mate. people are defending her not becuase we enjoy punting on her, but because its ridiculous comparing one of the greatest horses most of us have seen to something running around in benchmark races then saying she's overrated. At the end of the day, as much as its dissappointing not getting any value out of her running around the track, i can comfortably say ive had as much thrill just watching her gallop than watching something ive backed for a stack get over the line. Sometimes its not always about the punt mate!

Well said tank, I can honestly say the best money I have ever spent when BC lines up, is on the schooner I sit down with while enjoying the view. Backing against champions is for mugs!
