Lol no its not Moose :D That would be like trying to compare a galloper with a greyhound.
So we cant say Black Caviar is better than Precedence because they dont run over the same distance?

You can say that. But if you had BC run over 2400 against Precedence, Precedence would win meaning he is better-BC against Precedence 1200-1600 she wins, she is better. :)
Lol and if you put BC over the steeples against some old plodder she would get beat - doesnt mean he is a better horse though ;)
I can't be bothered arguing. Lets just leave it at BC is better than Americain! :)
They would both look good in my backyard !! Black Caviar is the worlds best sprinter clearly and possibly even the best horse (I know she's 'rated' 2nd but that's subjective as well) whereas you could put up a few for the title of world's best stayer. Dunaden ?? Anything from Japan they have 4 or 5.....Americain is up there though. That, to me, would make Black Caviar a better horse.
we at the pub r pitching in for some tissues rundorf .
I are at home waiting for them......................;-)
FRANKEL (#1) v BLACK CAVIAR (#2) @ Ascot .......the dream may come true, the talk has started. Bring it on!
4-6 ($1.50) about Frankel and 11-10 ($2.10) about Black Caviar

"$7 about her winning the Golden Jubilee by five lengths or more"..........they will get knocked off their stands by Oz punters!

Wouldn't get to hyped up about lengths. As you know she's more than capable to win by 5 but she's I think she's only been extended to hit the line once, the rest she's eased down
No market yet for Golden Jubilee I don't think, they are only being hypothetical for now it seems.
UK bookies are weak as p+ss, from the same gutter as the corporates here, they won't lay her for much, all mouth.

i would only bet on lengths with BC if you have a close relationship with luke nolen.
Yeh even still moody has made it pretty clear he doesn't give a stuff about track records or winning margins. Jockeys heed the instructions of trainers alot more these days. Some would rather lose a race by riding it they way the trainer does than actually take the initiative and do what they think is best. Cassidy is probably an exception but anyway I'd think moody would be pretty pissed if nolen extended her when she had the race won.
Yes, now they are really talking about taking Frankel on....hope they don't listen to Bossy, not that they are likely too...lol :

I hate articles like this - Hopefully Frankel fails when he comes back just so we get the see the English reaction to it :P
There are obvious correct points in it but they are surrounded by so much BS it takes away any credibility of the "article"

lol that english article is the biggest load of steaming shite ive seen for quite some time.....lol when will frankel begin its international chapter???muppet
Sorry to come into this a bit late but I agree with just about everything in the article. The only thing I don't agree with is that she has anything to prove over 1400m. She generally wins so easily over 1200m even against good horses that it's clear over 1400m she'll be ok provided she doesn't get caught in a speed battle early. But I agree 100% that the Orr win did nothing to prove anything.
