This Chris Waller trained son of O'reilly is Smart. Trialled very nicely and is very short today but is better than his opposition today and should be winning easily.
His last start third against Mental was outstanding where he made up a tremendous amount of ground late against a slow tempo and that day there was definitely a bias to the on pacers/railers, the sectionals suggest he's well above average #Follow

I like him too Plugger, just concerned about the pace because it seems like Wild And Proud will control the race up front for Cassidy and the Snowland progeny absolutely love the mud. And his time last start of 1.18.9 on a dead track over 1350m is outstanding. They look the two, but with fitness, I'll go with Gai's
Seems to be plenty of money for Road To Summer. Maybe because it beat Said Com in the trial, but RTS was ridden out, whilst Said Com was untouched.

SAID COM
Canterbury Race 3 No 4 at 2:30
Ascend Sale Trophies (Bm75) - Benchmark 75 (1200m)
Your comment: Was hitting the line very strong over final stages from back SYD 22/10/11

1.18.9 @ Wyong on a dead track is not that fast Nudge. He only rated 85 that day with ok sectionals.
Said Com has lots more sectional ability even if they don't go that fast, but I have Road To Summer trying to lead so the pace maybe ok

I was just about to make a topic about this horse. He showed tremendous potential last campaign, and should just be too good for these.
Full credit to the winner. 59kg on a wet track and first up. First two are in for a good prep
The winner turned in some huge runs at the Brisbane Winter Carnival and some ordinary runs. Comes back gelded, tells the whole story.
Said Com, is a smart horse and maybe, just maybe the soft track is not really his cup of tea.
Overall, both horses to follow as they did gap the rest.

Said Com needs distance and some time, a very very good horse but still a work in progress. Can be anything.
Just noticed Said Com is currently $51/$14 fixed price for The Doncaster Mile in "all in" betting. I have no idea if it is headed that way, but for all you guys that rate it highly, they seem nice odds for an up and comer. I haven't checked out any other sites for early Doncaster betting, but if you shop around, yu might even get a better price.
Will watch Said Com in the next month and see how much progress is made. Might wanna look a little closer first. Said Com's in the Australian Guineas for $31 all in betting. (Sportingbet) but if you want good odds on your own terms I'd suggest betme.com.au instead (for futures and weekly bets).
