Been waiting for this day i am laying sepoy.... sepoy will lose it cant win the coolmore it has come to the end of its prep and is a huge risk running straight is better on turns last time on a straight course he was pushed out to win............. he will get beat on saturday right in front of the owners eyes,,,,,,,

Spot on Plugga, Sepoy will smash em on the straight, he's a superstar

Don't think that much of Sepoy and he's no 'superstar' (superstars don't dodge horses), but i will say that he and Atlantic Jewel are the only two 'gimmies' for the day.

I tend to agree Masturb, if he is going to be beaten it will be on Saturday. Foxwedge is going to get the gun run, stalking Sepoy the whole way. Looks an e/w moral.

I believe everything MASTURB has to say... You'd be crazy not to.. He's been absolutely spot on with DO YOU THINK the last few weeks.

Foxwedge didnt look to get down the straight very well to me. He himself has had a long campaign! He was peaking for the Golden Rose!
I think Galah/Atlantic Jewel is the right double.

hmh no smart missile here...yeah i heard aj cummings is resting SM for an upcoming group one in mongolia :P

anyway i'm guessing the idea of laying sepoy stems from the fact that his two most underwhelming mlb performances have both been up the flemington straight. i agree that sepoy probably prefers a corner to sprint off but he should still be too good for this opposition.

haha i was wrong with do you think.... but i did tip december draw early markets you could off traded him off before the race he did get as low as 2.30 and gee he only had 3 legs thats racing so to say that was a bad caulfield cup tip 14 weeks before the race is a bit harsh....lol i really think hot snitzal can really give it to sepoy the last time they meet was in the slipper and ryan said he had a delayed prep going into the slipper ryan has hot snitzal primed for this race.. sepoys last start down the straight he was really pushed out to win and that was a weaker field to this.... and uate is huge overs 50/1 it was not that good last start but was 1st up..... should be fitter this week.... and should of beaten helmet last spring if could run straight..... the bookies do have sepoy 1.30 not a 1.10. .... i think its at the end of its prep and with racing down the straight = lose and the bookies must agree they look like they are willing to lay it.....

i'm not saying it was a bad early call on DD, but when when you come out with calls of "it will win by 8", "it will look like Might & Power coming around the turn", "it's a better bet than both Sepoy & More Joyous" your just setting yourself up for a fall. we all have the right to put our thoughts on this site, it's what it's all about. but when you shot from the hip with big comments you're got to expect some return fire. it's all in fun from my end.
p.s hope you backed the 100/1 winner i gave out to every one on the "bet of the day" thread .

hahaha i always expect fire...lol i was way of with do you think that horse just did not come up one bit unlike bart,,, he is about as consistant as his son of late... if december draw did not get injured i still think he would of killed that field he beat southern speed the start before by 4 lenghts... but thats racing southern speed could be the worst horse i have ever seen win a caulfield cup in the history of the race i think the bendigo cup was a stronger race..... after tomorrow you will see hot snitzal go straight past sepoy like its nailed to the fence..

The Bendigo Cup stronger than the Caulfield Cup? You must have seen a different Bendigo Cup than me mate because the one I saw was weak as water.

Sorry I take back the Sepoy can't run a place comment but Jeez mate you'd be livng in a tent if you were a bookie.

haha i would not go that far where did i say sepoy would not run a place that was manawanui i was very very close with sepoy foxwedge one more dive....... he was paying 1.30 i diont think the 30cents is going to send me to a tent lol

dener3

 wrote Oct 31 2011 at 9:01pm2011-10-31 21:01:39

so you were only going to lay him to lose $1? Losing 30% on your investment would certainly send you to a tent after a few of those type of losses (just ask my wife and her share portfolio)
