For me it's Patterson in Adelaide. Gets beaten on a lot of shorties.
Gauci was perennially avoided.
Mcevoy will be popular but to me he is the best jock in Sydney riding at Canterbury so he is forgiven.

Rather back Nikolic then Symons??? That will do me. The only leader he has won on was Mosheen in the Oaks and that race was handed to him on a platter

would rather a chip monk ride my horse than Brad Rawiller..

never ever catch C brown, dont like M. Walker should b a ganstar raper, with all that bling. but

J. Byrne for his protest display during the sydney carnival on that thompson thing that ran 2nd to helmet,
"i think i would have gone close" stewards kicked each other under the desk with that 1

Kathy O'Hara, still havent forgiven her for Voice Commander ride at the Valley but she has ridden a couple of winners for me, just a frustrating jockey to back.

M Zahra, T Berry, B Rawiller, C Brown. By far the worst jockeys in Australia. They should be riding ponys

McEvoy is always one that divides on here, he has been pretty good to me so I like him but at the same time I sort of understand where people are coming from. I think his issues are more mental than anything, physically, he is really well balanced and his horses tend to travel really well for him but if something goes amiss and plan A has to be aborted, he seems incapable of activating plan B. Nikolic is one I generally steer clear of, occassionally on a front runner I will back him. I tend to agree that Nolen is a bit overrated but has the best cattle to pick from in Australia.

yendall. great jockey and its my fault. But I never back him correctly. Has cost me a lot of multi's lately with 1.40/1.10/1.80 jc's not winning for me.

K.McEvoy.......if I'm on him, he'll find a way to get beaten. When I'm not on him, he'll win. Cannot get on at the right time. Agree with Molanski13......when he finds a bit of trouble, he's in the sh*thouse.

horse4luv Yendall is great i have made a lot of money of him over the past 5 or so years, now he is to popular, non metro meeting now his horse are under the odds and JC's he will always start Favorite non metro. so currently I hate backing him. but he is due again for another treble or quad so I will keep backing him!!!!!.

It seems there is no unanimous opinion on this topic. I wonder if we give too much credit to the jockey sometimes. We all know what a bad ride and a good ride looks like, but there is a lot of luck in racing. Horses are not cars, and if they arent in the mood for a run, a jockey can only do so much.
