Des will take them over to England for the World Club Challange and then Toove's will take over for the 2012 trials and first fixtures maybe?
Des H have the year off?
i don't think so - the bulldogs will find something for him to do.

it's sad for a manly legend to loose so much respect from the manly faithful, my only wish is that when he goes to the dogs so will his new team.
I don't think Des will be taking a year off. He'll probably have September off, but not the whole year.
Des H have September off ??
what year? 1980.
i thought he was pretty busy in September 2011.

Saints had a tough time mid 2011 when they had to decide who was playing for who next year. So did the Tigers and the Knights. Those clubs have arguably stronger squads than the Doggies. From the first whistle to the last in 2012, every Bulldogs player is going to be wondering whether they are going to be cut loose or not. Des will have to be very talented to get them to September.
Des was pretty busy for 7 Septembers in a row :)
Just reading on nrl.com that Des Hassler will start with the dogs this week!!(GOT TO FEEL SORRY FOR DYMOCK),talk about out of touch !!,Does the manly board actually realise they are in the business of winning premierships ,gee i feel sorry for Dessy ,On a side note Daly Cherry Evans looked very classy against wales and imo was the difference that helped them to the 2011 title.......If i was Dessy he would be the bloke i would try and poach!!!
Isaac Luke is the biggest dog in Rugby League:
"The New Zealand hooker Issac Luke has admitted he deliberately tried to break the leg of his cousin Rangi Chase, the England half-back, during the Four Nations Series.
The South Sydney player was given a two-match ban for twisting the leg of Castleford's New Zealand-born playmaker during the Kiwis' 28-6 defeat by England in Hull last Saturday.
Now back in Sydney, Luke made the stunning admission that it was Chase's decision to switch allegiance from New Zealand that pushed him over the edge.
"I just saw red," Luke said in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald. "A lot of the legends that played in the black and white jersey, they wanted blood. I know Rubes [the assistant coach, Ruben Wiki] wanted blood.
"I guess that's the mentality us young ones have taken on board. We had a talk the night before about what the jersey meant and that must have come out.
"When you come up against your family you want to outplay them. I didn't outplay him. I tried to break his leg. It was the wrong thing to do. Now I see that %u2013 at the time I didn't. After the game I said sorry. He said it stays on the field."

Farah to Parra? Certainly has a ring to it. I'd reckon they'll work things out though.
Doubt he'll leave or doubt they'll work out their problems?
It would take something to shift Farah you'd think. He's on decent coin at a strong club so you'd think he is happy to stay.
couldnt see Parra signing him. they must be on the cap limit.
Which is the better dreamteam comp? - The telegraph version or the foxsports version?
not even close, the Telegraph is a lot tougher and therefore better imo
Tele is $30k for the winner and $500 for the weekly winners not sure about fox
