Like Danleigh a lot here, Vigor and Heart of dreams to be around the money, dangers are Rebel Raider, Fanjura and Ghostmilk.

I'm liking Vigor Dist:7-3-2-0 Track:9-5-2-0 T/D:5-2-2-0 2nd-up:4-2-2-0 and was making up ground behind shoot out last start when finishing 4th. I think Danleigh is the main danger with Heart of Dreams and Rebel Raider.

i also like vigors chances tenchy. good run first up. the one i will be following in this and throughout the spring is chartreux. he is up in the big time now and i think he'l prove why the stable has a massive opinion of him. another big show in this is cest la guerre. the money wont come for him as it wrongly did first up but i will be having something on him e/w. flemington is his go and he went into this race first up last year and ran huge on a good track, 2nd up this time, a wide barrier and a dead/slow track should see him be in the finish. lankris i was told it would be an inproving slow track come sat?

I agree with Chartreux he is in my little blackbook. Its currently a Slow and we didnt get alot of rain today but we are expecting a bit come tomorrow and the rest of the weekend. Chartreux has ran and placed on both heavy and slow tracks.

For all the same reasons as above mentioned by Tenchy and Predator I am more than happy to outlay my cash on VIGOR. The horse that I am watching is ALANDI. He is a serious stayer! Can't have DANLEIGH in this race. Don't see much tempo on paper so the $3 is unders for mine.

$3 is criminal for Danleigh. Couldn't back anyone under 5/1 in this field. I am liking Shocking e/w at $19's - 3/3 Flemington, drawn well whereas his main rivals Vigor and Heart of Dreams have drawn the carpark, and his first up run was a blackbooker in a race they walked. In Rodd we trust!

not that i am bias or anything but dont forget you got a derby winner that has come back bigger and stronger and injury free on a track where he won his maiden at 100/1, the derby and absolutley blew em away first up in adelaide two weeks ago great race border rebel best e/w bet on the card

Very tough race, a lot of chances. Will stay clear of Danleigh 0-5 at the Mile.

Alandi - 3/3 Slow, 1/1 Heavy, 2/3 First Up....interested to see how he goes. Obviously the Mile is going to be way too short.

Going to include the imports in the Quaddie. With the Slow track can picture one of Hickmott or Freedmans imports doing something. Might have a nibble at Dr Fremantle EW at $61.

on the rain affected think Monaco can acquit himself well at the EW

I like Rebel raider a lot for this and further. I could not believe its run at 1200m Morph. This horse is up for a serious run of wins, and the slow and the track suit to a tee. Follow it all the way, each way.

I might change my tip from Vigor with Danny saying he aint at his peak and may not be ready to win here, interesting that form around the liston usually holds up strong in this

Rated for a slow track.

My ratings have Danleigh on top, not won this trip but placed behind some handy ones and a 5th in the Doncaster. Got to the line well 1st up and has won 4 times 2nd up, 5 wins and 2 placings from 7 starts on a slow track says he is a live chance.

Vigor for 2nd, as mentioned above ticks all the boxes and going for two straight Makybe Diva stakes wins and both 2nd up.

Heart Of Dreams for 3rd, not too far away 1st up behind Shoot Out and races well this distance and track. Drawn the carpark probably cruels his chances but still could fill a place.

Shocking for 4th, unbeaten at Flemington and has produced 2nd up in the pass. Would not suprise and adds some value to your multiples.

Dangers, Master O' Reilly may fill a place at odds and Monaco Consul's chances improve in the wet.

4,9,6,1.

Speed Gifted goes well 1st up in the mud over 1600m and there's been money for it.
Monaco consul ran nicely first up on slow part of the track, can handle the sting out of the ground and won the derby at flemington.
Heart of Dreams is the best wfa horse in the field but drawn wide and ? on wet tracks

maybe the money is going to come for cest la guerre afterall. $61 into $26. ive had a abit on him but not enough to make him come in that much. speed gifted been smashed aswell

A really tough race, which means good odds all round. Have it narrowed down to about a third of the field (hahaha!!). Think the exotics might be the way to go with Danleigh, Speed Gifted, Alandi, Fanjura, Vigor and Ghostmilk or dutching them somehow to turn a profit.

Thought Monaco Counsel 1st up run was full of merit, classy and should take on a heap of improvment.. Vigor won this race 2nd up last year will go close again.. Chartreux is one i feel has not yet shown its full potential even though it did win WA Derby, can take the next step here. Speed Gifted won well this track 1st up previous, can repeat here...

if fanjura get a run in the makybe diva, he has 2 things on his side a light weight and the fact he has won on the heavy. I will be backing him at odds
