Wall street was a cracking run in the cox plate and is already a group one winner on the track, nice odds.

I reckon lights of heaven might sneak a win in here, its a hard race to pick.

yeh maybe presidento... it has had a freshen up, a repeat performance of its first up run behind Whobegotyou would see it go very close!

I'm thinking it's probably a race between Efficient, Wall Street and Foreteller.

I think Lloyd's other 3 are in it for the run, Rekindled Interest doesn't like Flemington, Southern Speed is unsuited coming back to WFA, Sincero isn't G1 quality at this distance and Precedence is a donkey. Glass Harmonium and Lights Of Heaven won't be able to hold on over the long straight after a strong tempo set by Mourayan.

Glass Harmonium just about has to win this. Forget the Cox Plate run when missed the start, with Rekindled Interest the main danger if he can position a little better than midfield.

For those who like WALL STREET - it had collic during the week and connections are awaiting blood test results to see if they'll run.

For anyone who is interested, Andew Bensley just tweeted this:

Lloyd Williams horses: Efficient going back from br. Mourayan going forward. Midas Touch sitting just off pace. Green Moon to go forward.

Midas Touch has got the ability to win this race, but surely that would not be the plan would it?

i know lloyd williams likes the unorthodox approach to training his horses but i'm struggling to agree with him letting midas touch go weeks between runs & then expecting efficient as an eight year old to back up two weeks in a row ( yes yes efficient did it before in the vase-derby but that was five years ago ! )

so yet again i think it'll be the mares fighting this group one, out...lights of heaven & her danger is southern speed

Wall Street scratched - looks like he did not recover well enough from the colic attack.

I think that a virus went through the Lloyd Williams stables not too long ago.

This race is a bit of a lottery as the spread of prices demonstrates! The grey beard Efficient looks to have a massive chance also and Sincero, Midas Touch and Mourayan have claims.. BUT JEEEEEZ the price on The Verminator is really something! Good record the distance and his last win was eye catching... Cant ignore the 40/1 on BF...
