I won the Fashions on the Field best hat at a mates bbq.
And me missus won the sweep on "The Greatest Race Never Run"
Almost made up for a disasterous day of tipping/punting.
The Sun did rise today though.

Can you pull the figures on number of tipsters who tipped on the Cup and the total numbers of 1st/2nd/ 3rd placegetters from those Kagan. Might be good advertising ammo for next year - although seemingly a long way off.

Yes I tipped him in here as well..I had him in a Caulfield Melb Cup Double with Monaco Consul (3rd Caul Cup ) who I tipped in here also.Would have been a nice collect.

Jay I am not meaning to be nitpicking but I started this thread to see who had selected Americain as the winner.,not someone that had it in a boxed quater of the entire field.Just a point also if you boxed the trifecta with 7 for a $1 would cost $210 for the first 4 $840. For this amount it was far better return to have $1000 straight out on the winner or even $500 e way would have given a better return.I noticed also Hunt the Punt has not actually made a selection here since 5/9/09 so he did not actually select the winner in one.

pharlap3 from the 213 people to tip on the Cup 15 selected the winner, 24 the 2nd placegetter, 73 tipped 3rd. These along with Harris Tweed with 15 tips were the most tipped horses in the race. Info from Insider selections in case you are wondering. Names of tipsters not provided though.
