Is it Just me, Or are the Tipping Comps Rigged?

seems Mr Zappity has the ability to get his tips in twice???? check out his results.

forget that he has 2 accounts! he is getting credited wins TWICE on the 1 account. Thats my point.

The tips appearing twice is definitely a glitch in the system it does it to alot of peoples i look at including my own. Happens when you click to get the older results not on the first page.
I beleive some people use programs to find there winners, thats how you will get nothing for 30 tips then a massive winner.
Thats what i have discovered from my time here. I have seen genuine form studiers with minimal tips win the monthly comp many of times.

Huh???...Am I missing something here??....I can't see Stickman (or any other pick) appearing twice on Zip or Zap's pages ....if that is what the problem is, perhaps the glitch is in your PC/Laptop/Software and/or Browser (or much too strong kif?? =;-)

Jealousy.... what the...I/We have nothing against anyone on a personal note i was just saying i would guarantee anyone that has been buying those tips would be consistently losing. And about growing up.. why don't you read what eelz has written ( i suggest a few times ) cause you have mist the main point. eelz has had a "great find" in that zippy zappy or who ever his name is has had his tips paid twice which makes double the amount of profit and or loss.... as in not 1 but 2 collects off the same horses on that same day if it wins. And as for Efficient not complaining thats good of him there is no need to complain if you lose ( thats gambling), i was just mentioning the facts, and yes i am aware zippy zappy has massive profits and is always near top of ladder board but if he is on the zippy zappy wagon there is no way that he could be in front unless he has an endless supply of money or has only been having $1 win on them all or something of the like. Its not jealousy or a way of saying i am better then him as i am not even in the top 100, its just common knowledge that if you bought 50 tips off someone ( and planned to back them all ) as well as backing your own... your chances of hanging in and suffering 30 or 40 losses in a row and choosing to continue on backing loser after loser waiting for his big one to come in that that would mean several trips to the ATM. He seems like he does a great job for the monthly comps and that is awesome, i am simply giving a warning to buyers that its not always a good thing to be buying the leaders tips because its a bit of a false reading for a punter. Talking from experience, i have had more luck when i buy someone's tips that i see are starting to find form, and when there form tapers off i change tipsters and look again but these tipsters sometimes come from way back on the ladder board. Just trying to help the punter out not the leader of the comps thats all.
I think if you read it again mate you will see that i am not targeting him as a bad tipper or punter etc.

Sorry Eeelz...now I'm with ya mate....(the Forum heading got me a bit fired up)...as I said, I don't see anyone getting credited twice on their page....I've done the scroll down on both Zip & Zap (to the end) (+mine +yours + 2 other) and I don't get a double up on anything....must have a tech glitch with your browser or something....(it's over to you Kagan =:-)....I'll have a "little lie down" now...cheers

hey guys if you compare both sets of tips you will find that both have a few that match...but on the whole most dont...in fact he has tips for the same race ...but different horses...probably running 2 sets of criteria...if he comes up with horses that fit then they go in...the ones that fit on both are the ones that probably match....just my humble opinion...but i dont think i have ever seen a guy produce so many long priced winners...and what makes it even more remarkable in my opinion is that he is from kiwi land....no disrespect intended.....stick at it zip/zap you really are amazing

na not out of element just read the whole thing wrong....now im agreein with you eels....there are a couple of days doubled up...my bad.....still thought i had a good arguement for what i thought i read....lol

AHA.....didn't look at the dates.....just looked at doubled up single horse picks (ie next to each other)....there IS a repeat of several complete day's betting......goes 1st,2nd, 3rd up to 8th Sept 2010 then goes back and repeats 3rd -7th.....a database glitch for Kagan methinks but surely the results are not added together??...I will do a copy/paste/total into my own (brilliantly programmed) database and return with the results!!.....

Gentleman you may note what Zip does and what Zap do is share the gear changes if you note they usually take the horse with the blinker change or if their is two runners one will take one and the other will take what is left..so it is a simple solution but if you applied this on a Sat believe me over time you will lose ..it is noted most punters bet on a Sat.. only apply gear changes to the equation if it is noted that there is a possible chance that the horse will improve ..as for tipping well Zap can Zip all he likes.. it at least shows a different formula to picking winners.

WTF????....Way behind, Phil.....anyhow here's the skinny.....Zippity from 1st -13 Sept= 1011 BETS!!! (not likely) .......x$100Win= $101100 investment!!!! (not likely).....Place Return shows $865.70 total (or slightly >$5 return per place bet= OK)....so...even though days are doubled up, the graph and totals at the top are correct.....therefore the glitch is in the page display not in results shown....No double credits allocated.......It looks like a job for Super Kagan and the crew (By the way, Nice photo this month Kagan.....is that your spring/summer retreat? Must be big $$$'s in sys admin these days =:-) ..... All Done, All Dusted....Case Closed...Phew....now I gotta think about tomorrow's tips........

Today look at your paper for the gear changes and then compare zap with zip and you will see a smart way of coming up with the tips and the long shots ..well done to zap for thinking of having two tipping ladders.. ..it had to be done someday.. and taking horses only with the gear changes works on this system extra well .. goodluck zap well thought out .

The only way to make it an even playing field is to limit the tipping to the max of (15 tips) per day as the limit .. most tipper would be around this mark.

Thank-you for your feedback everybody. The 'more results' issue you have mentioned is something we are investigating - certainly we don't allow multiple tips for any accounts, so profits will not be affected whatsoever. This is just presentation issue when you click the 'more results' link.

As for the multiple tipping accounts, generally we don't allow multiple accounts. To keep the ZippityZap/ZappityZip situation fair to everybody we have recently updated our terms to prevent users from been part of ANY competitions for any secondary tipping accounts that we discover.
