There are really only five horses that I see as quality milers: Jimmy, Wall Street, Secret Admirer, Testa My Patience and Kings Rose (Dao Dao too but not in recent memory).

Of these I think WALL STREET is an interestingly priced runner. He won this race last year fifth run in from a spell also dropping in distance direct from the Cox Plate. And this year he improved on his Cox Plate performance. Dominic Beirne reckons he can't win with the weight but he won last season in NZ with an extra kilo over both the mile and 2040m. I've taken the

SECRET ADMIRER is gonna love the Flemington straight and come home super hard. Only concern is if all the petrol's been used burned up tackling the Cox distance. I'll probably throw some money this way too.

Jimmy's not a sexy enough price for me to be tempted in a field like this.

SECRET ADMIRER great bet. Didn't think it would enjoy moonee valley track as much and couldn't see it winning that race. But this suits. I'd probably stay away from Jimmy. This is an open race. Secret Admirer is set for a nice drop on these, still yet to really see it come home. But will figure here. Don't bet too much. Tough Race. I'll be on TESTA MA PATIENCE as well. With odds of 10s and odds of 8s for Secret - I think we can all afford to back 2 runners here. Good luck. Testa loves flemington and will run the trip nicely.

Like Albert The Fat Here. First time in a long time he has had a trouble free prep & has been primed for this. Always thought he would make a good miler & looks a good ew bet today.

Can't have Pinwheel going around nude at the 41s. Genuine and honest, if he gets someone to cart him into the race, he should have a strong finish. The mile is a concern, but can't get hurt at that price.

Money, if it was wet I'd have Red Tracer marked a special. She seems to have raced some of her better performances on wet ground, but obviously handles all conditions well. Ticks all the boxes otherwise from an 'Emirates' perspective, except she's a mare...

Jimmy the class horse and paying 2 to place i think he is a solid each way bet. Secret Admirer to win and Pinnacles and Dao Dao as some high value placegetters. Also will find room for Testa my patience and wallstreet

I think if wall st was in any other part of the track he wins, the inside was like quick sand yesterday. If you were near the lead or the fence you could not win, lots of forgive runs from yesterday.

geez alot of people on here selected albert the fat so how did it still pay 17 ? well done.

with the movable rail i dont know why they dont move it out a clear distance, for example ten metres & have everybody racing on fresh grass. instead of taking it out a crappy three meters & creating fast & slow lanes.
