DJ where do you find these odds mate pre-race...Fair dinkum, I am not on your case because you tip losers, I tip them too, not that I mean to tip losers, but I don't talk them up, I don't pretend to be in Hong Kong, when I'm in fact in Oz, but you talk yourself up like there is no tomorrow. I wonder are you out to make some $$$ from tips, or are you the pro you make out you are. I ask this, because if you are SO good, why bother, making 10 or 20 bucks to reveal your tips that you bet on (i assume/hope you do)
I personally get the feeling you are a pro spruiker who knows a bit about the horses%u2026All this get on, spank bookies, it's all fluff if you don't follow up%u2026Like a footy team, you are only as good as your last game mate. I guess I'm asking what is your purpose here? If it was to educate the punters, just post in the forums and not ask 20 for 4 tips, because they are not that exclusive!!!

Why would anyone bother complaining? It's your choice to buy them. Take some personal responsibility you whinging muppets.

Read the comments pal, it's not about the sales, it's about the false advertising, and seeing you want to start name calling, it appears from your avatar you're the dribbling puppet%u2026

And let me add, why do you need to jump in??? Seeing you are talking about choice, allow us to respond and you mind your business unless you have something of value to add. You look like a relic from the 70's just like DJ's pic if I was honest about it

You're a sharp one. It appears you struggle with English comprehension, so me introducing a Latin phrase will probably blow your pooper valve - "caveat emptor".

No one's forcing anyone's hand on this site. If you have control issues and can't resist buying someone elses tips, seek help.

buyer beware....I learnt that is grade 2 ANCIENT HISTORY, I and others, are, as I repeat, are concerned with his false advertising, so unless you have something constructive to add, find something else to do over your evening sherry...

["DJ tipping...why?"].
Pretty easy question, because he wants to I reckon.
Seems to keep people interested too, they even start threads about him.

And as much s I cringe to answer someone who cant mind his own business, DJ made it my business when he spruiked outrageous odds about his tips, hoping to entice me to purchase his offerings... You have no idea who you are dealing with

"You have no idea who you are dealing with"

The "Block This User" tag is a good way of controlling what you want to read. There is no need to read anything you don't want to.

No but when you attack my comprehension of the English Language, you make yourself open slather...You know nothing about me. But I'm pleased to tell you in another place that is not here...go and find something else to do...I'm sure DJ can speak for himself

Well, I'm personally disappointed that [BestChance} isn't Batman. That would have been exciting. Almost as exciting as the 4 horse all-up I have for all of you at Bunbury tomorrow...

Everyone's entitled to voice there own opinion but seriously DJ'S handicapping skills have alot to be desired and belong back in the cave times. But if your trying to market a product then DJ is your man...doesn't have to be a good product

On a serious note i recently asked DJ that Maybe you should give the punters an indication of which bookie has what odds available DJ so they don't have to search and then miss the price....

And his response was

I can't do that Plugger, it would completely crush that poor bookie! Some of them limit my bets as it is! My Hong Kong bets that is ..... they let me on for whatever I want with my Melbourne bets, lol. (But remember it only takes ONE Killer All Up and those Melbourne bookies will learn a good lesson!)

Come on DJ this is rubbish and if you take your price first then your set, so why would it matter ? Price is the important part of the betting process for longterm profitability so why wouldn't you help your devoted customers ??

Maybe DJ you should get a hold of
Gallopers and Gamblers by Pat Craven (an excellent resource that will teach you nearly all there is to know about punting and non punting aspects of racing) You can order this book online through the Tuxedo Bookshop

The Australian Horse Racing and Punters Guide by Rem Plante is a racing bible and definitely worth picking up. It was written in the 70's so much of the class structures etc. are not relevant but the advice about racing and how to win is outstanding. This book is long out of print and The Horsemans Bookshop is probably the only place you can get a copy.

Winning More by Don Scott. Don was a legendary punter in his day and this book will teach you alot of the fundamentals about racing, particularly class. Make sure though you do get Winning More and not his last book, Winning in the 90's, which would not be as relevant to you.

Hats in the Ring by Allan Aitken - an excellent book which you will learn alot from.

Horse Racing Theory and Practice by Paul Seager. Also an excellent information source to learn about punting.

These are the pick of the books available on the Australian market for someone who wants to learn how to actually study form, assess chances and determine value bets with confidence. Each will set you back about $45 with the exception of Hats in the Ring which is about $25 and Rem Plante's book which goes for about $75, primarily because its out of print, but secondly because it's a racing bible and so hard to get.

A lot of those books (if not all) are for babies to the racing game. DJ clearly does not fit that description.

Oh alright then, if you want to be serious - try Roger Biggs. His books are far more insightful and relevant to the modern day punter.
