Got Wazn on top from Permit & Yulalona. Throw in King Lionheart for fourth.

Legsman is a special here. Leads and wins on a softer surface

Kontiki Park is a special IMO

for mine theres a good chance kontiki park and legsman might take each other out in their tussle for the lead (also surely no cheap sectionals at any stage in this one )as a result i reckon they both might feel the pinch the last 200 or so !!! imo if king lionheart had of got some weight relief he would of been a special !!! however must be noted that bowman has jumped off king lion heart on to yulalona $7.5 ,should be a good race to dutch and early i have Wazn $4.8 a stand out

with two Darley horses in the same race, do we back the one with the higher odds??

Good point, Jimmy. I was also thinking the same of Palasport. His only chance in this is to lead. And he has none anyway, so they'll be up there as well. Interesting race. Legsman's chances improve considerably with a wet track. Dead or drier and I just can't see him being good enough.

My contenders,

King Lionheart - Has 1/1 this distance and has shown a liking to this track and I think the $9 on offer is a bit silly. I have him half that quote.

Kontiki Park - Going for three straight wins and has ran a 2nd and a 3rd from his two 2400m starts. The second was to Maluckyday in the listed Tattersals Cup at Randwick. Looks a chance at nice each-way odds.

Yulalona - I find this fella a bit hard to catch, has 1/4 this distance and at his best will have every chance.

Legsman - Gets out to a distance now that he relishes, won the Winter Cup at Rosehill this distance last campagne and has two placings in Listed and Group company as well. Lokks hard to beat.

Wazn - Having first go over the trip and his 2nd last start suggests that he should have no problems getting over 2400m. Handles all conditions and looks a live chance.

Permit - Is 3/5 this distance and 1/1 this track and is also Group 3 placed over 3000m. Another with strong claims in this open race.

My top four 1,2,4,5 I think the winner comes from these as well as your exotics. At the moment if you were to dutch those four at level stakes you would get a 66% return on your outlay, food for thought.

Interesting to know O'shea put Legsman over the sticks this morning to sharpen him up. I am slightly leaning Legsman's way over Wazn who will be hitting the line.

just going through some replays & it would appear king lionheart was sent out as a sacrificial lamb and t berry was trying to give his team mate a slipstream ,so forget KLH went around !!!,probably pay to get on KLH next start on a decent track & hopefully with weight relief !!!10/10 ride schofield on the winner wazn and legsman another big effort, goodluck all !!!
