West coast and geelong today, as for melb tomorrow I really think they will go close to knocking off the doggies
yeh i couldnt touch melb or bulldogs. Like picking the least worst. Rather give that a miss. Coll can account for port
I'm not personally a footy betting man, BUT GWS are currently at $15 to knock-off the Bulldogs at Manuka. I think that's pretty big odds considering how bad the bulldogs are at the moment
and Sydney at $3 to knock off Hawthorn isn't too bad either considering they haven't lost a game
Zebesty, you're onto one there with GWS and the Bulldogs. The way to tackle it would be GWS with a 39 point head start @ $3.70, crazy price considering how bad the dogs are.
Yeh the dogs are still better gws and should win but i agree gws are worth a bet at 15's. GWS will win a game when their opponent shows up to the game thinking its going to be an easy win. If any poor team like melb,GC, bris, dogs rock up without game like intensity and gws does they will win. It is a road trip for the dogs and they may lack effort and as i said 15's is worth a gamble but if they dogs rock up there too good for gws.
Essendon have my bogey team. I;ve backed more fancied teams like the dogs, geel and carlton last week only to have ess pull their finger out and when i back them off a good performance their get hammered the next week. In saying that i think their overs today. Ryder will dominate the ruck and hopefully their midfielders can get more clearences. Coll have got a lot of injuries and i know ess have to but coll are playing a lot more kids and im not sure they have buckleys game plan worked out. Should be a close game but backing ess to win and watson BOG.

anzac game could turn into a bog today, could be a good tough game. I'm a dees fan and i am positively S**tting myself that GWS are going to knock us off. Bulldogs shouldve wiped us off the floor on the weekend but they were woeful. I think theyre at basically the same level as us.
haha yeh that is a chance. But i think melb will be ready for gws because they wont win too many more. Theres some big problems with the game plan down there. it almost looks like they dont know how to play
It is hard to watch as a supporter i'll tell you that. The annoying thing is I think Neeld is a good coach and I like him, but the players are absolutely lost, plus I don't rate it as a very good gameplan.
-Go along the boundry, bomb it 40 metres, hope for a contested mark, repeat. FRUSTRATINGGGGGG

Yeh i like him to. Hes a very confident speaker and from what i've read he's a good motivator but he's trying to do too much. He's changed everything down there pre season and the players haven't got it yet. I was watching some afl show and he set up a university down there and the players have to go to class everyday and learn about football and the game plan lol. Yeh that game plan won coll a flag but i'm not sure melb has the same list. In fact i'm very worried their top draft picks are going to be related to richmonds (my team) deplorable top draft picks. Trengrove is a gun and i'm sure there are some players amoungst them but i haven't seen it yet. Watts will be very good but morton who i think was top 5 is a dud.
Morton is a shocker, Paul Couch's son Tom is banging on the doors to get a go but they haven't played him yet, looks like this weekend it might happen- he is an absolute gun.Trengrove, Jamar, Grimes, Molony, Howe. Thats about our only quality players at the moment. One guarantee is Neeld will trade big time at the end of the year, He's very keen to get a quality list
Yeh i think theres more scrutiny because there was finals talk in baileys final years until the catasrophere and now they basically have to start all over again. Every coach wants a quality list but i not sure he's going to get one. Green will retire this year or get delisted imo.
He won't retire, but gee I hope he get's the boot. unfortunately him and Davey are past it. Anway, there's always 2019 to look forward to....
Davey I think could be useful in the right side. He is pretty soft and can't win his own footy but in a really good side where he can be strictly an outside player and can use his skills (he is a beautiful kick). Think someone like Andrew Mackie who has really only been effective because he has had so many good players feeding him the ball and made his life easy. Green however doesn't seem to have any value to anyone and if you look at players who have left melbourne in the last few years as good players (Brock McLean and Cameron Bruce spring to mind) they have struggled, so I suspect they only looked good compared to their Melbourne teammates and Brad Green can't even look good compared to them so I suspect he is finished (anyone know if he is contracted for next year?)
I think it's out at the end of the year Mol, but dont quote me! Neale Daniher played Davey exactly how he should be played, Bailey destroyed him.
FFS. I backed Selwood to get the most pozzys at 8 to 1. Watched the game then thought I'd log on to view my winnings.... bloody SideBum got 38! Fair dinkum, he had a big first half, but I didn't see him in the second half! Fark I hate the pies and SideBum!
How about those CROW boys hey! yeah! real contenders!
very happy I tipped the crows M&P, Carlton very overrated imo and crows top team in the league for the past few weeks. Even though they beat sydney in sydney and Geelong by 60+ people didn't seem to give them the credit they deserve
i think it's five of the past six or six of the past seven nab cup winners have gone onto make the final eight. Adelaide are continuing on that trend now but i just wonder whether they'll fade towards july/aigust, like essendon (last season's nab cup winners) did last year.
carlton at the small etihad stadium, coming off a six day turn around & facing an inform team were ridiculously priced. when they get back to the mcg they'll come good.
