It's a sad and seedy saga. And it doesn't read well for Roebuck. If the story comes out that people did cover something up then hang 'em from the highest tree as soon as the gavel drops.
Powerful industries and people cover things up for sure. The media is powerful but they aren't all on the same team. If it was "common" knowledge then someone would have dropped a bucket of s**t on him years ago. I just don't know if Roebuck was valuable enough or powerful enough to be protected by his employers or colleagues. They can keep quiet about his sexuality and maybe if he got caught with coke or DUI. But not these sort of accusations.

The cops took his computer and I'd reckon we'll find out more of the story when they release what they find. Who knows what is on that thing.

Not sure if anyone is following the Penn State University drama in America at the moment. A couple of sickos have got the whole place in deep sh*t.

That dude from Penn State is F&&&ED...Old Paterno ruined his legacy too by his inaction. Jesus what is wrong with people?

Scary story. Not just sick people can cover this stuff up but greedy people too.

Long odds I think. Sort of thing they do with Russian spies. Maybe he was a spy....

re copper(s) throwing him over - reasonable theory - remember there was only 1 in the room at the time.
the other dud was outside with jim maxwell.
my mate who has a son as a copper suggested that straight away - just cleans it up and avoids a long and expensive exercise.
south africaan police have never been an understanding lot.

You would have to be an idiot to think he got tossed out the window...He was way ahead of the approaching pack and knew what was coming...I am quite close to this story and if I had my way it would of been told years ago...Believe me...He was a protected species by Cricketing Authorities, Media Giants, Colleagues and Adversaries alike...It all comes back to everyone has skeletons in the closet...The weak colleagues though, assumed their "Minor Discrepancies" we could say in the scheme of things on TOUR, weighed into insignificance with this boy lover...
The journo's should bury their heads in shame...As they were willing to bury his illegal activities to protect their own Moral diversions.

I might add those involved had much much more to make out of this snakebellie's demise if he was alive, with interviews, books etc.

Lovers of his work are sadly being mesmorised if they think he is a victim...

A dirty lonesome abuser of young people who were attracted to him, and at the same time protected him for the "Opportunities" he gave them....

Call it his "Modus Operandi"

I find it hard to believe that so many people would protect someone if he was so dodgy. How big a skeleton does someone need in their closet to protect a paedophile? I can see people keeping quiet if he liked hookers or cheated on his wife or was into drugs. But not this sort of stuff.

LOL. Just a reference to the "what goes on tour, stays on tour" vibe in an earlier post. Visiting a local knock shop (if it's good when the bookies pay, it's better when the boss does) or picking up in a nightclub is a pretty normal party trick when on tour. Journo's and players can keep that sort of stuff under their hat - don't want to get home and have everyone's wife and kids screaming. But they are piss weak secrets compared to the other stuff.
