Snack Bar (1) bumped into a handy one in Perspiration at Mornington last start but beat the rest comfortably. The blinkers come off for this rise in trip.
Brighella (2) comes out of the same race as Snack Bar, finishing within a length of that galloper. The rise to 1400m appears suitable.
American Wolf (4) goes straight to 1400m for his debut. The son of Tivaci won a recent 1000m jumpout at Cranbourne in preparation for this.
VERDICT: Signor Bill (3) for the win.

Mrs Chrissie (5) is very fast on her day but she's also unpredictable. The 54-day break between runs looks a positive given her first-up record (5:3-0-1).
SA visitor Wakanjeja (8) has trialled well ahead of her return. She was unplaced when well-fancied at her last couple but was impressive posting back-to-back wins over this trip prior.
Lady Di Di (6) maps for a soft run from the inside gate.
VERDICT: Mawallock (1) to return a winner. BEST BET

Typhoon Harmony (5) has drawn the outside gate but he can show early speed at times and he was excellent winning over 1600m at Morphettville last start.
Cadmus (1) ran well at Mornington last start and this is easer. He rises sharply in weight but Bull's claim helps in that regard.
Mirzann (4) is a Waller import worth keeping safe. Money may tell the story with him.
VERDICT: Disturbia (14). BEST VALUE

Pantelone (3) has finished in the top-two in 8 of his 11 career starts and was a last-start winner at Sandown Lakeside from an inside gate.
Holy Racket (1) enjoyed a real confidence-booster at Yarra Glen last start, leading throughout to romp home by 3.8L. This is much tougher but he has a likeable pattern and hasn't put in too many ordinary ones to date.
Title Fighter (6) was excellent last start but the rise in trip and wide gate are negatives.
VERDICT: Shesallshenanigans (2) to hopefully prove too slick for these.

Boonie (13) is an interesting runner resuming. He's 2 from 3 when fresh and was very good down the straight prior to going for a spell. His Benalla trial was rubbish but he's jumped out really well at Flemington.
La Danseuse Rouge (8) maps to stalk a very hot speed and should have the last crack at them first-up. Her fresh record is good (4:2-1-0) and she's yet to miss a place in three runs at Caulfield.
Veteran sprinter Ashford (1) always has to be respected in these types of races.
VERDICT: Philosopher (6) for the win.

Angland (7) made it 2 from 2 last start with victory over Truffle Finder, who looks to have a bit of ability himself. The Price and Kent-trained gelding should get every possible chance from barrier two.
Some People Callme (8) has come back well this preparation, swooping home to score impressively over this trip two-back. He was competitive in a hot form race last time and should be able to settle a bit closer to the speed from the inside peg.
Riproar (6) was simply too bad to be true last start.
VERDICT: Grinzinger Belle (2) for the win.

Munhamek (2) will find this easier than recent assignments - in 3 of his 4 four starts this campaign he has raced against Pride Of Jenni or Mr Brightside (or both). He'll get back from the wide gate but look for him to be zooming late.
El Soleado (5) is racing in sensational form. There has to be a dip at some point given he's been up since November without a spell, but his last-start effort reads well for this.
Dashing (9) was awful last start but that was out of character (and at Mornington). It wouldn't come as a shock to see him bounce back with only 53kg on his back.
VERDICT: Here To Shock (3) can win again.

Zambezi Khan (5) looks a stayer of some promise but the wide gate and the rail out 8m might work against him. He led last time but that was from barrier four in a very small field.
Gates (1) was solid last start off a total forgive run, while Saban (9) has to be respected if here (barrier 16 and no jockey at the time of publication).
VERDICT: Aztec State (2) on top but this is wide-open.

Berkeley Square (1) broke a long run of outs with a gritty win at this track/distance last Saturday. Barrier one is probably the last barrier they would have liked here but the in-form Currie should be able to get him into the clear in plenty of time.
Things haven't really panned out for Euphoric (8) this campaign but he can certainly win if they are able to swoop in earlier races (he'll likely settle in the last few from the wide gate).
Aberfeldie Boy (6) has claims but still sits on just one win from 12 outings.
VERDICT: Little to no confidence here. Pass.

Rheinberg (6) was well-beaten last start but he's better than that and only just missed on resumption two-back. He actually beat Chorlton Lane over this route four starts ago, prevailing by a nose.
He's Our Bonneval (3) won well last start and ran good time in the process. He'll likely need a slice of luck given he'll probably drift back in the field from barrier three. His Caulfield efforts have been good though.
Talbragar (7) won well last start, taking his record to 6 from 9.
VERDICT: Chorlton Lane (2) for the win.
